Waiting For Adoption - Small and Fuzzy
Note:
We have had some individuals show interest in an easy way to help support
the animals in our shelter. To this end, we have started the Guardian
Angel Program. With this program you can click on the link following each
animal's description and donate an amount of your choosing to the care and
comfort of that animal. If the pet of your choice finds their forever
home before your donation runs out, the remaining amount will go toward the
next dog or cat to take up residence in their place. Thus, you can become
a Guardian Angel to one or more of the homeless pets in our care.
Remember though, this Program is a
sponsorship of the animal, not an adoption. To adopt one of the pets on
this list, you will need to contact us in person, by phone, or by e-mail, and
go through the required adoption process.
Our Guardian Angel Program uses
PayPal, the most popular transaction site on the Internet.

Our Bunny Room

This is our bunny room. The bunnies have their own spacious hutches and
play area. We have two very dedicated volunteers who spend quality
time with our bunnies weekly. Another wonderful volunteer purchased
the hutches. All our bunnies are spayed or neutered prior to being put up
for adoption.

Leah - Female
Leah is a spayed, all black bunny.

Guinea Pigs
Degus - Male
Degus are Chilean Rats. They are wonderful pets. Look like giant gerbils. Degus are illegal in Douglas County. We have one pair that are bonded with each other. The male is neutered so no more babies, but these two need to be adopted together. Their adoption fee is $125.
