Volunteer Information

We have many volunteer opportunities available for you! We are an organization run by volunteers so your participation is critical to our success!

There are no formal training sessions and you can participate as much as you are able. There are no set schedules or mandatory hour requirement.

Examples of volunteer participation include:

• Exercising/socializing/grooming the dogs
• Socializing the cats/kittens
• Help out in the office with answering phones and greeting prospective adopters
• Computer work
• Manual labor/handy man skills
• Assisting with return phone calls and call backs on adopted animals
• Newsletters
• Fund raising projects

The list is endless. Whatever skill you have, you are valuable to us!

Please call or email us if you would like to inquire about the opportunities. Leave your name and number or email address with office staff and they will pass it on to the volunteer coordinator. You can stop by during normal office hours to spend some quality time with the animals and meet the office staff. Please check in at the office when you arrive.
